Sri Lanka vs India 2017: Twitter Goes Wild as MS Dhoni Gives his Teammates a Multix Car Ride 1

While the recently-concluded One-Day International series against Sri Lanka did not leave the fans with an adrenaline rush due to the lack of fight from the hosts, but the Indian fans could not have asked for more from the series. As one of country’s most beloved cricket Mahendra Singh Dhoni rolled back the clock with his sublime knocks, a couple of incredible milestones and last but not the least his trademark victory lap.

The wicketkeeper-batsman had entered the series under severe pressure with even chief selector MSK Prasad making it clear that time was running out for the 36-year-old. However, the World Cup-winning captain proved his detractors wrong once again by scoring  45*, 67*, 49* and one in the five-match series, playing an integral role in the team’s historic 5-0 victory in the Island nation.

During the series, he also becomes the sixth Indian player to play 300 ODIs before becoming the first-ever wicketkeeper to affect 100 stumpings in the 50-over format.

And as if all those achievements were not enough, Dhoni delighted his fans with his actions after the game ended, as he rolled back the clock by driving his teammates around the park on a multix car which was awarded to Jasprit Bumrah for being the Man of the Series.
