Sri Lanka Vs India 2017 - Virat Kohli's Response To Harbhajan Singh's Demand 1

Virat Kohli and Harbhajan Singh have a lot in common. Apart from being two loud Punjabis,  the champion cricketers are never afraid to speak their hearts out and the same is reflected on the cricket field, as aggression remains a common factor in both their game styles. While the off spinner may no longer be a part of the dressing room led by Kohli, but he surely does interact with his friends through social media.

Recently, when Kohli tweeted about the features of his latest earphones, Harbhajan was quick to pose a demand, and asking for a piece of himself. To this, Kohli came up with a witty reply, mentioning, “Bhajju Paa, Keep an eye on the daakiya! ?? “ (Check your letter box Bhajji).

Kohli however, was mainly in the news for his exploits in the first ODI against Sri Lanka after his breezy half century along with Shikhar Dhawan’s century saw India through in an easy run chase. Post the win, however, Kohli hinted that India were ready to experiment in the lead up to the 2019 ICC World Cup.

“I think we need to start planning for the 2019 World Cup. You have to prepare 24 months in advance. We are taking that as a challenge and look to try out different things,” Kohli said.”We’re going to experiment and embrace that. You can see a lot of changes. All the guys have bought into it. It’s all about what gives us more balance.”

“The last three months have been a great time for Shikhar. The good thing is that he is capitalizing on his purple patch. He can win you games with the way he bats and we would be looking to keep him in that zone for as long as we can,” the Indian captain said, praising Dhawan.
