Star Sports To Telecast India A vs England Warm Up Tie 1
Under MS Dhoni, India has won a T20 World Cup, 50-over World Cup and Champions Trophy in past.

Keeping in mind the aura and audacity of Mahendra Singh Dhoni leading any form of team India for the very last time, Star TV, official broadcasters of the Indian cricket team, have decided to telecast the first warm up game between India A and England. The game will be played on January 10 at the Cricket Club of India in Mumbai. The second warm up fixture will be played at the very same venue on January 12, but with a completely new look India A team.

When Dhoni recently hung up his boots as India’s limited-overs captain, there was a massive furor when the BCCI announced Dhoni as the leader of the India A team for the warm up game. Along with Dhoni leading the team, there will be further excitement as star all-rounder Yuvraj Singh will be a part of India A too.

“Preparations are in full swing. Dhoni is a legend and he could be playing his last match at the Brabourne Stadium on January 10. Gates are going to be free and we expect around 20.000 spectators for the match.”  Sachin Bajaj, Executive committee member of the CCI, was quoted saying.

India skipper Virat Kohli recently also admitted that he learnt quite a bit from MS Dhoni, and would look to implement the same. “I’ve learnt a lot from him in terms of leadership and conducting myself. When you think ‘Dhoni’, the first thing that comes to mind is ‘captain’. For me he’s always going to be my captain because I started my career under him.”

“He will always be the guy who guided me, who gave me opportunities, who gave me ample time and space to grow as a cricketer, who saved me from getting dropped many a time,” Kohli was quoted saying to bcci.tv.
