Pakistan sits on the top spot in the list. It was in their starting years when they achieved this surprising record as playing against West Indies ideas in Barbados in the year 1958, Pakistan bowlers gave away 579 runs in the first innings which put their batsmen under the pressure right from the start. An under pressure batting line-up made a total surrender before being bundled out on a score of just 106. Imtiaz Ahmed, who scored 20 runs, was the highest run-scorer for them.

West Indies was in a clear hope of sweeping the game here but what came next in the third innings surprised them. Riding on historical innings of 337 runs from Hanif Mohammed, Pakistan piled up a mammoth total of 657 on the board asking West Indies to chase 185 in the final innings which they could not achieve due to the shortage of time.

Hanif Mohammed went on to bat for a period of 970 minutes, which is still a record till now.
