2. Afro-Asia Cup, India (2007)- 1892 runs

The second edition of the Afro-Asia Cup, which was played from 6 June until 10 June 2007 in India, saw a combined of 1892 runs being scored by Asia XI and Africa XI. 1892 runs was the highest overall runs scored in a 3-match series at that time and stood nearly for a decade until it is recently broken by India and England. Out of six innings, five innings witnessed score of over 300-runs while the remaining innings fell short by only 17 runs to get to the 300-run mark.

2nd Match: Africa XI v Asia XI at Chennai – Jun 9, 2007:
Asia XI 337 for 7 (Sourav Ganguly 88, Mohammad Yousuf 51) beat Africa XI 306 (Mark Boucher 73, Boeta Dippenaar 67, Fernando 4 for 36) by 31 runs
3rd Match: Africa XI v Asia XI at Chennai – Jun 10, 2007:
Asia XI 331 for 8 ( MS Dhoni 139, Mahela Jayawardene 107) beat Africa XI 318/7 (Justin Kemp 86) by 13 runs.
