9. Azhar Ali – 81* vs Sri Lanka, 16 June 2012:

The second player from Pakistan to carry his bat in the 50-overs game, Azhar Ali achieved the milestone against Sri Lanka in 2012. Batting first, the island country could post only 243 runs in their allotted 50 overs. However, their pacers- Lasith Malinga, Nuwan Kulasekara and Thisara Perera, who claimed a hat-trick, shocked the Pakistani team with some brilliant display of pace bowling.
The visitors were cruising at one stage as they were 166 for 2 in their pursuit of the small target, but a sudden collapse saw them losing their remaining 8 wickets for only 33 runs. While the other batsmen fell one after one, Azhar Ali remained unbeaten on 81 off 126 balls.
