Another fine innings from an opener went in vain as the English opening batsman’s unbeaten century could not take his team over the line. Chasing a small total of 196 runs against West Indies, the English batsmen completely failed to counter the Carribean pacers. They were falling like a pack of cards but Stewart held firm from one end. He came agonisingly close to taking his team over the line but eventually fell short by 3 runs as he ran out of the partners.
