- Deryck Murray (1993 runs):
The West Indian wicket-keeper was around the national setup for 17 colorful years as his presence behind the stumps was steady. Murray’s career lasted from 1963 to 1980 and that coincided with the sheer dominance of the West Indies in world cricket as very few sides could match to the aura of that Caribbean side. In that span, Murray was a crucial member as he got some crucial runs for his side in conditions difficult for batting. 1993 Test career runs with 11 half-centuries was quite good for a wicket-keeper back in those days.
