- John Emburey (1713 runs):
Emburey was regarded as a fine off-spinner for his career for England, which lasted from 1978 to 1995. He was a genuine spinner, who gave the ball a decent amount of flight and was pretty conventional in his ways. Like Shane Warne, Emburey batted in the lower order and was more than capable with the bat. With 64 Test matches to his name, he went on to score 1713 runs for England at an average of 22.53.
