But Chris Gayle burst to life with two impressive half-centuries against Punjab and Sunrisers, unfortunately that latter innings could not prevent Royal Challengers Bangalore from losing their third IPL final. Gayle ended this year’s IPL with 227 runs in 10 games at 22.70.
