An all-rounder who can hit big and bowl at 140plus – he looked every captain’s automatic choice. 2016 has already been so much kind to Pandya; not only his debut for India, but also played in the World T20. From being an unknown domestic struggler, he became a household name within a few months. The expectations were high as always have been in this country. But his performances were just pathetic. 44 runs at an average of 6.28! You have to call him a phenomenal flop. The bowling not much better either; he bagged only 3 wickets at an average of 51.
