5. Rajasthan Royals & Kings XI Punjab:

As IPL has provided us with significant results we have also witnessed some intriguing stats. In the list of teams with most wins, the fifth is shared by now ousted IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab, who are yet to be crowned as IPL Champions and were runners-up in the eight edition of IPL in 2014 when they were thumped by Kolkata Knight Riders by three wickets.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals came out as victorious in the maiden IPL final in 2008 when they beat Chennai Super Kings by three wickets. All-rounder Yusuf Pathan was named Man of the Final for his valiant 39-ball 56-run knock.
In 118 games, Rajasthan Royals won 61 as they had lost other 53 games with the win percentage of 53.41. However, they did not participate in the ninth edition of the IPL following the fixing scam which hit the league in 2013.
Royals won two tied games and lost another before one had no result on offer against Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2015 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore in the 29th match of the seventh edition of IPL.
In 2014, they won the match based on boundary count against Kolkata Knight Riders in Abu Dhabi after the game was also tied in the super over (11 runs each scored).
On the other hand, Punjab had 61 wins in 134 games as they had lost 71 which show their winning percentage as 46.26. They had won two tied games.
In 2010, Punjab beat Chennai Super Kings in the one-over eliminator.
In 2015, in the eight edition of IPL, Punjab thumped Rajasthan Royals when they set the target of 16 for Royals in six balls, who in response scored six for two in 0.3 overs.
