Sanjaya Rodrigo – The Ragama cricket club batsman Sanjaya Rodrigo was the first batsman to carry the bat in T20’s. During his innings of 16 runs, he saw 10 batsmen bidding a goodbye to him but he stood there at the crease. Bloomfield club asked Ragama club to bat first, the Bloomfield bowlers exploited the conditions and gave regular blows to the batting team. The Ragama team was dismissed on a paltry of 85 runs but the opposition team was not able to dismiss the Sanjaya Rodrigo. Rodrigo in total played 28 balls and scored 16 runs. The Bloomfield club won the match easily as they chased down 86 runs without losing even a single wicket.
