Ankit Yadav – In the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy 2013, the Odisha batsman Ankit Yadav created a history by becoming first Indian batsman to carry a bat in T20’s but it came in a losing cause as Odisha lost the match by a huge margin. Odisha was chasing 180 against Vidarbha, the Odisha batsmen never ever looked in touch as the Indian pacer Umesh Yadav with his lethal pace ran over the Odisha batting line up dismissing 5 batsmen. No other batsman other than Ankit Yadav was able to face the lethal bowling line up of Vidarbha. He stood there at the crease till the end scoring 54 runs of 37 balls; Odisha team was dismissed on a total of 107 runs, losing the game by a margin of 73 runs.
