3. Angelo Mathews- 339 runs (Sri Lanka tour of India 2014/15):

On an otherwise dismal tour of India in 2014-15 for the Islanders, captain Angelo Mathews’ performance was their only bright spark. I
India had won all the five matches of the series which will be remembered for Rohit Sharma’s impressive 264-run knock at the Eden Gardens.
Sri Lanka proved no match for the Men in Blue, but Mathews waged a lone battle throughout the series, as he finished it as its highest run-scorer. The former Sri Lanka skipper amassed 339 runs at an average of 113 including a century and two half-centuries.
