- South Africa – 239:
Having made their ODI debut much later than other teams, owing to the ICC sanctions imposed on the nation, its impressive of South Africa to feature on the list. Traditionally, the Proteas have been dominant in both departments of the game equally, and have produced some legendary ODI batsmen.
The likes of Gary Kirsten, Jacques Kallis and Graeme Smith and Herschelle Gibbs were some of the early South African batting legends. Their legacy was well carried ahead by the modern day Proteas batting greats in the form of AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla, and Quinton De Kock.
Despite having such an impressive batting record, South Africa still eye their maiden World Cup title, a quest that has taken an eternity and still shows no signs of dying down.
