Rishabh Pant created history by scoring the fastest century in Ranji Trophy history. He thrashed 100 runs in 48 balls in Delhi’s second innings against Jharkhand at the St’Xavier’s KCA Cricket Ground in Trivandrum. May be he is just but Pant has already made a mark in the first class cricket for himself. He scored more than 700 runs in this season in six innings. Rishabh Pant Of Delhi team scored the fastest century in Ranji Trophy history . He blasted the century off 48 balls and finished up on 135 off just 67 balls, including eight fours and 13 sixes against Jharkhand. His tally of 21 sixes in a game is the second-most in first-class cricket, behind New Zealand’s Colin Munro who blasted 23 sixes in his knock of 281 from 167 balls for Auckland against Central Districts in 2015. Pant was batting 135 from 67 balls when he dismissed by Ashish Kumar and taken by Ishan Kishan. In the first innings, Pant scored a ton – 117 from 106 balls – with his century then taking 82 balls for the third quickest ton in Ranji Trophy.
