He believes that the right-handed batsman has got the best technique. Further, Waugh added that he would suggest the youngsters take the Indian skipper as the role model in their careers to achieve certain new heights.

“I think Virat Kohli has got the best technique. If I told someone to model himself on a particular player I would say Kohli has got a perfect technique,” Waugh told ESPNCricinfo when asked to pick the best batsman of the current generation.
