Team India skipper Virat Kohli teamed up with his India teammate Rishabh Pant as they appeared in a television commercial together for the very first time in their life. In the advertisement, Rishabh Pant and the Indian skipper can be seen rapping together on the screen which was definitely a surprising element of both the cricketers.

The commercial was meant for skin care company Himalaya Men and it was shared on Thursday night. Just after Virat Kohli posted it on his social media handles, the advertisement garnered more than 30,000 likes and over 2k retweets. The video was shared on Virat Kohli’s Twitter handle and garnered a huge response in less than a day.

“Walking like a dude, feeling all cool,” said Kohli as he started of the rap. You’ve got the look, you’re going to rule.” Rishabh Pant, they replied, “ Pant the town red ‘cos’ Virat says so.” The 45-second commercial came to an end with Virat Kohli advising his younger teammate Rishabh Pant to use Himalaya for men to ensure that he doesn’t get any pimples.

“But before you step out, dear bro, that pimple’s gotta go, gotta go, gotta go,” c told Rishabh Pant. “Watch me and @RishabPant777 team up with @HimalayaMEN to take care of the one problem that keeps coming back. PIMPLES! #HimalayaMenPimplesGottaGo #LookingGoodAndLovingIt,” wrote Kohli on his Twitter handle.

Meanwhile, the 45-second commercial has garnered mixed reactions. While some have liked the commercial a lot, some have taken a dig at the skipper and Pant for featuring in this advertisement. England speedster Stuart Broad is one among many who didn’t like the commercial. He took to his social media handle and took a dig at the two Indian players for appearing in the commercial.

Stuart Broad who is a popular figure in Twitter and other social media handles felt that the Himalaya Drug Company could have employed better choices. He feels Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes could have done a great job if they were assigned in the advertisement.
