Tea Seller’s Son Selected for the Pakistan Squad for ICC U-19 World Cup

Zaid Alam, son of a tea seller has been selected in the Pakistan squad for the upcoming u-19 World Cup to be held in New Zealand scheduled to start from January 13. However, young Zaid aims to achieve more success in his life.
Zaid’s father, Alam Khan runs a small tea stall to run the family. The young batsman Zaid used to work along alongside his father and brother to support his family.
“We never had any money nor did we ever think along these lines,” Alam said while talking about Zaid’s journey.
Alam thanked almighty for helping his son to go forward in life and lauded his hard work and determination. Alam further stated that his son’s quality to respect his teachers have helped him to strive forward.

“Allah helped my son move forward in his life. His achievement is a result of his hard work,” Alam remarked.
However, Zaid had to struggle a lot during his childhood days as he faced severe financial issues, although it couldn’t deter him from his goals. The young cricketer started playing cricket at the club level where he grabbed everybody’s eyeballs.

“I will give my 110 percent to the team and ensure that Pakistan becomes victorious,” Zaid was heard saying while talking to Geo News.
He further admitted that he desires to make a mark in the international arena and become a part of Pakistan’s cricket team.
