In the list of the highest run-scorers in Twenty20, McCullum is only behind the West Indies legend Chris Gayle. McCullum has scored 9035 runs in 325 innings at a tremendous strike rate of 137.81. He has scored a total of 7 hundred and 47 fifties in his T20 career. McCullum’s highest score in T20s is 158 not out, which he has scored twice.

On April 18, 2008, McCullum had scored a breathtaking 158 off 73 balls in the first-ever IPL match. Incidentally, he scored that hundred for KKR against RCB at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Notably, the whole RCB team could not score more than McCullum’s score. The Rahul Dravid-led side was all out for 82 runs.
