Team India will reportedly play two more T20Is than the originally scheduled games in the West Indies later this year. India are scheduled to visit the Caribbean later this year for a full-fledged tour.
West Indies will welcome India for two Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is. The tour is scheduled to take place in July-August. And according to Cricbuzz, the BCCI has agreed to increase the number of T20I games on the tour to 5 from 3.
The report further added that the BCCI is also contemplating having another short home series in June. As of now, no final decision has been taken in this regard but the BCCI is exploring the idea or arranging a three-match ODI series against either Sri Lanka or Afghanistan right after India play the World Test Championship final against Australia in the first half of June.

The short ODI series is likely to take place during the short window available between the WTC final (from June 7-11) and the start of the West Indies tour. India are expected to leave for the West Indies in the first week of July.
The report also stated that if the short ODI series is finalised, the BCCI will have to identify a short-term broadcaster as the new broadcast deal is unlikely to have been signed by then. The current deal ended with the last ODI against Australia on March 22.
As of now, the Indian players are gearing up for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League, scheduled to begin on March 31. After the IPL ends on May 28, the Test players will prepare for the WTC final. It is likely to be followed by the short ODI series before the team leaves for the tours of West Indies and Ireland.
