In the year 2010 in a Test match against New Zealand in Ahmadabad Bhajji showed up his batting skills. In the first innings he scored 69 runs and in the second innings, he clocked a century to rescue the team from a difficult situation. He and Laxman shared a partnership of more than 150 runs to sail the team’s boat from a difficult situation to a safer once. Laxman was dismissed on the score of 91 but Bhajji was only dismissed after achieving the milestone.
