Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar thinks that nothing can be more perfect than starting the birthday celebration with casting the vote. He has given his vote on the morning of his 41st birthday in Mumbai on Thursday.

After throwing up his vote, Tendulkar posted on Tweeter: “I have voted, have you? A wonderful beginning to my birthday, as a responsible citizen of our great country.”

“I think in a democratic country of ours, every qualified voter should vote. That’s why I am here. I don’t want to discuss about who will construct the government.” Tendulkar stated, when he was asked about who is going to form the government this time.

Little Master, who is the icon of the IPL franchise team Mumbai Indians, harked back to Mumbai from Dubai at the beginning of the ongoing week in order to cast his vote for the general election in India.

Tendulkar, who himself is an MP of Rajya Sabha, has requested all the ‘Mumbaikars’ to be brought out in full numbers and cast the votes in accordance to their choices.

He posted on his Facebook page, “Every run counts in the game of cricket and every vote enters into consideration in an election. Don’t put down the power of your vote. In Mumbai to play my right. Hope you play your part – Please Cast your vote.”

Sachin Tendulkar, who has been awarded by the Bharat Ratna, got retreated from the Test cricket in November last year. He appeared last in the arena of international cricket in Wankhede Stadium, which is his home ground.

Maharashtra consists of 48 leaders in the Parliament and is voting in three phases. The first two legs have occurred on April 10 and April 17 and the last part of the session, which covers 111 seats in Mumbai and Thane has taken place on Thursday.
