Virat Kohli – The Indian skipper has turned himself to a double century scoring machine as in past one and a half year, Kohli has scored a total of six double centuries, with two of them coming in the Test series against Sri Lanka at home.
Kohli scored 1059 runs in the year at 75.64, the highest average by any batsman in the year. Kohli had to reinvent himself this year as after a double century in the first Test of year against Bangladesh, he had lean patch against Australia but soon, he found his Midas touch back until the end of the year, scored runs at will to emerge out as one of the one best batsmen in the year.
