Best Bowling Figures in an innings in 2014

TEST CRICKET: Rangana Herath bowling figures of 9 for 127 against Pakistan almost got him to the point where he could pick up all the 10 wickets in an innings but still, this performance of his remains the best in 2014.

For India, Ishanth Sharma’s match winning performance 7 for 74 against England at Lord’s remains the best in 2014.

ODI CRICKET: An unexpected performance of bowling by Stuart Binny against Bangladesh makes him top the list. Binny picked up 6 wickets and gave away just 4 runs in 4.4 overs.

T20I CRICKET: Rangan Herath again tops here for his figures of 5 for 3 against New Zealand.

For India, its Ashwin’s performance of 4 for 11 against Australia is the best in 2014.

This was a small compilation of few of the bests that took place in 2014 as covering wouldn’t be possible. But as we now enter 2015, one would expect a lot better performance for India and when we make a compilation for the Bests of 2015, there should be more Indians on top.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015!
