The right-handed Mardan-born batsman smashed 12 boundaries and two sixes in his significant knock, as he was equally supported by Asad Shafiq, who scored 109 off 179 deliveries.

With the 10-wicket win, Pakistan levelled the four-match series 1-1 by as the required just 40 to win.

Interestingly, the win has witnessed the celebrations from Pakistan players before being announced as the Number one in the ICC Test Rankings under the leadership of Misbah-Ul-Haq in August 2016.

England scored 328 and 253 runs in their respective two innings which further saw the visitors posting 542 in its first innings as their second innings read as 42 for zero in 13.1 overs.
