2. Lasith Malinga:

The right-handed orthodox fast bowler is one of the best bowlers that cricket has ever seen. He is one of the few, who retired from the ODI and Test format with legendary status. But, all of a sudden, he broke the heart of his fans by announcing his retirement from the Test format of the game at a young age.
He was just 28 years of age when he bid adieu and had played in just 30 Tests taking 101 wickets during the course. However, as he promised, Lasith Malinga delivered the goods on a consistent basis in the shortest formats of the game.
Recently, he called curtains on his ODI career as well. The right-handed fast bowler left ODI cricket as the third-highest wicket-taker for Sri Lanka after Muttiah Muralitharan and Chaminda Vass.
