Interestingly, South Africa had used as many as eight bowlers throughout their World Cup campaign. The paceman Dwaine Pretorius had featured in three matches to prove his worth.

The well-built bowler Pretorius had impressed Faf du Plessis with the skill set he possesses as a bowler. The promising looking bowler had conceded just 94 runs to snare five scalps.

The 29-year-old had made things quite hard for the batsmen to let them allow firing all cylinders.

Also, he had the best economy of 4.09 for the Proteas with his average reading 18.80. Well, none of the Proteas bowlers could keep their average under 20 other than Pretorius.

He is among those bowlers who did not concede a maximum.
