A member of India A squad for the ongoing New Zealand series, Siraj is also uncapped in the longest format. He did earn a Test call-up for the home series against West Indies in 2018 but couldn’t make his debut. A recall could be on the cards for him if India decide to include five pacers, which is unlikely to happen.

The right-arm pacer has done well in first-class cricket of late. He scalped 17 wickets in four Ranji Trophy matches before flying to New Zealand. The 25-year-old has played three T20Is and one ODI but hasn’t had a great outing in white-ball cricket at international level.
