Buzz for the next year Indian Premier League (IPL) has started as the auction dates are out. The players’ auction is scheduled on December 19 and the trade window will close on November 14. The last year auction was big but this year it’s small and also the first time auctions will be held in Kolkata, not in Bengaluru.

IPL 2020 is scheduled in April and May next year, as per reports. The process to release and buy the players has started by the franchise. Some franchises are finding for the new supporting staff and some have already roped the new members.

It will be interesting to notice what changes will the teams make. But there are allrounders which were unsold last year. It will be likely to see that this time they will be bought for whooping money.

Here is a look at three versatile players who went unsold at the IPL 2019 auction, but this time franchise will have an eye upon

Jason Holder

Jason Holder, IPL, auction
Jason Holder

The 27-year-old all-rounder is from the West Indies and is the present captain of the team in Test cricket. He remained unsold in the last year auction. He has played 11 IPL matches.

He made debut in IPL in 2013 in Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and then shift his base to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). In 2016, he has joined Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and last played for them. In 2018, the player was not bought by any team.

If we notice his current performance, Holder has brought changes in the game style. In August 2019, India toured West Indies where Jason Holder played the role of captain in the Test team. His performance in his part was satisfactory though they lost both the Test matches against India.

He has played 39 Test matches, 107 ODIs and 11 T20Is for West Indies. The allrounder has scored 1887 runs and picked 101 wickets in Test matches. In ODIs, he has scored 1771 runs and picked 130 wickets. He has also scored 60 runs and taken nine wickets in T20I career.

Next year in T20 league, he can be the option for the franchises. He can prove successful for the team in IPL.
