The 27-year-old all-rounder is from the West Indies and is the present captain of the team in Test cricket. He remained unsold in the last year auction. He has played 11 IPL matches.
He made debut in IPL in 2013 in Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and then shift his base to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). In 2016, he has joined Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and last played for them. In 2018, the player was not bought by any team.
If we notice his current performance, Holder has brought changes in the game style. In August 2019, India toured West Indies where Jason Holder played the role of captain in the Test team. His performance in his part was satisfactory though they lost both the Test matches against India.
He has played 39 Test matches, 107 ODIs and 11 T20Is for West Indies. The allrounder has scored 1887 runs and picked 101 wickets in Test matches. In ODIs, he has scored 1771 runs and picked 130 wickets. He has also scored 60 runs and taken nine wickets in T20I career.
Next year in T20 league, he can be the option for the franchises. He can prove successful for the team in IPL.
