James Neesham became the known face after the ICC World Cup 2019. As nobody can forget the super over which decided the winner.
With his effort, he took the final of the World Cup to super over. James Neesham was trusted and sent to bat in the super over. He hit 13 off 5 balls where he also hit a big six to Jofra Archer. But eventually, because of a rule, England was handed over the trophy.
The medium-pacer and left-handed batsman is equally talented in both the departments. The 29-year-Old has played 12 Test matches, 59 ODIs and 15 T20Is.
He has played in the IPL for Delhi Daredevils. He was also selected by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) but didn’t play a match because of injury and was dropped next year from the team.
This year he has not played the IPL as the allrounder remained unsold in the last players’ auction. But after seeing his performance in the World Cup he is likely to be bought by a franchise.
