Dhoni family
Mahendra Singh Dhoni ‘s father and mother Devaki Devi’s wedding took place in 1969, his son Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born July 7 1981 in Ranchi. Dhoni has an older brother Narendra and four years older sister Jayanti.
A whole day batting

First job

Reject jobs
In 2004,Dhoni gave up the job of the railway and in May 2005, he became the manager of the Indian airlines. After starting his ODI career, Dhoni got an opportunity to become the DSP which he rejected.
Failed to become the state team captain
Dhoni never became his State team captain. The 2004-05 season was offered the captaincy but he focused on his batting and wicket keeping. On January 12, 2000, against Assam, in a Ranji match, Dhoni got the opportunity to play his debut match as a wicketkeeper batsman.
Team India’s call:
On July 29, 2004, in Harare Zimbabwe, Dhoni handled the jobof a wicket keeper. Here is the first time he wore the dress of the Indian team, although it was not a full international match. In the same match Dhoni got 11 dismissals and made his own Indian record. There were seven catches and four stumpings. He scored 45 runs in 48 balls too.
