Young Pakistan batter Mohammad Haris feels that it is too early to compare him with the likes of 360-degree batter Suryakumar Yadav and Ab de Villiers, who had played for a long time. The 22-year-old is one of the exciting talents from Pakistan, who has done exceedingly well for the teams in recent times.
The young batter is currently leading the Pakistan team in the Men’s Emerging Asia Cup in Sri Lanka. Speaking to the media, Mohammad Haris dismissed the comparison of him with the likes of Suryakumar Yadav and Ab de Villiers in International Cricket, as he is still new to the cricketing scene and reckons that he wants to make a name for himself being a 360-degree cricketer.
“We shouldn’t compare between the two of us just yet, Surya is 32-33 years old. I am still a 22-year-old boy. To reach that stage I still have to put that work in,” he added.

“Surya has his own level, De Villiers had his level and I am my level well. I want to make a name for myself as a 360-degree cricketer, not use theirs,” Mohammad Haris said.
The Right-handed batter’s inclusion in Pakistan during the 2022 T20 World Cup did wonders for the Men In Green, which helped them to reach the finals of the marquee event in Australia. In PSL 2023, Mohammad Haris smashed 350 runs in 12 games at a strike rate of 186.17 in the recently concluded Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Mohammad Haris has been impressive in the few games that he has played for Pakistan and will look to make it big for the Men in Green in the future. The Right-handed batter can take on the fast bowlers and spinners at ease, especially in T20 Cricket. The Men in Green has provided the opportunity for youngsters against in recent times of which few players have impressed the experts.

Ab de Villiers and Suryakumar Yadav are considered to be one of the most innovative and naturally gifted batters the world has ever seen, as they have redefined the shorter format of the game in recent years, they can take the game away from the opponents in a short period.
Suryakumar Yadav has done exceptionally well in the middle and death overs for the five-time champions in IPL 2023 and the right-handed batter was brilliant for the Indian team in T20 cricket throughout 2022 and would look to dominate the bowlers in the coming years.
