The South African legend was as complete a cricketer can even get. Other than being a world class batsman for the Proteas right at the top, Kallis was an able pacer as well, being always among the wickets. With the bat though, Kallis was a sensation at the top. His consistency was never an issue, as he got to the 9000 ODI career runs mark in his 242nd ODI innings against England in the 2007 World Cup encounter at Barbados. A career ODI average in excess of 40, that for someone who bowled quite a beat was a feat in itself.
