Andy Roberts – 12/121 (West Indies):
West Indies fast bowling quick Andy Roberts, a part of the famed West Indies’ four string fast bowling attack, made the Indian batting order hop like rabbits in the 4th Test of the 1975 tour. Although, India won the match by a convincing 100 runs margin, it was Roberts’ fine spell of 12/121 that grabbed the headlines in the newspapers. In the first innings, India chose to bat first and could reach till only 190 as the left armer snapped 7/64. In the second innings, Roberts came back and grabbed another five wicket haul taking 5/57 and ending with record figures.
