South-Africa born Kevin Pietersen played for England National cricket team. He also marked his place in IPL for Delhi Daredevils and his regional team St Lucia Zouks. He was born in Pietermaritzburg, Natal Province, South Africa on 27 June 1980. The dashing batsman is mainly known for his right-handed batting and occasional right-arm off break bowling.
Kevin Pietersen made his debut for his national side in Test on 21 July 2005. It was a match against Australia, England’s greatest rival. His ODI debut was against Zimbabwe on 28 November 2004. Kevin Pietersen, commonly known as KP appeared in 104 test matches and made 8,181 runs and earned a batting average of 47.28. In one day international, he appeared in 136 matches for England National Team and scored 4,440 runs. Here his batting average remains 40.73 (up to 09.12.14).
