After his cricketing career, he started a new profession by joining the English first-class panel in 2002. By 2004 he was officiating as the third official in internationals, and in 2005 he stood in the first Twenty20 international in England. In 2006 he was added to the ECB’s list of international officials.
Recently, he was on the headlines for losing cool after having a chat with the Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who was leading Royal Challengers Bangalore at that time.
Coming to his earnings, he gets $3000 for each Test match while $1000 for a T20I game and $2200 for one ODI game. In total, he earns $45,000 per year.
