The match witnessed a batsman to score 200 in ODIs for only the second time as Virender Sehwag’s monumental innings of 219 runs took India to a massive score of 418. Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina chipped in with useful half-centuries. As expected, West Indies could not prove a match for the Indians and could only score 265 runs.
