6. Australia: 434/4 vs South Africa (2006):
The first instance in ODIs when a team crossed the 400-runs mark. Riding on Ricky Ponting’s 164, Australia scored an astonishing score of 434. Everybody thought that the contest was over but the South Africans had something else in mind as they came out all guns blazing to chase down the total with one ball remaining.
