5) South Africa – 316/5 v Kenya

The Kenyans had a tough day dealing with stronger opponents South Africa at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo in 2002. The top three consisting of Graeme Smith (69 from 77 balls), Herschelle Gibbs (116 from 126 balls) and Jacques Kallis (60 from 53 balls) proved too dominating for the minnows as South Africa registered 316/5 in 50 overs. From the start till the end, it was the Proteas show. Smith and Gibbs added 159 for the opening wicket. Later, Kallis combined with Gibbs to add another 55 for the second. The final touches were provided by Dippenaar (31 from 28 balls) who along with Kallis added 73 for the third wicket to help South Africa end with a match-winning total.
