The former Indian cricketer Gundappa Viswanath was a fine player. With his perfect shots and quick footwork, he easily sent the ball to boundaries. He scored a century in the debut Test match in November 1969. Vishwanath was around 5.3 ft tall which made him join the list of Shortest cricketer.

He played 91 Test matches and 25 ODIs for India. He played a crucial role in the team and also led the team from the front. The right-handed batsman played many match-winning innings. He proved – “height doesn’t matter when you are passionate about your career”.
