The New South Wales lad had a special connection with India, as he kick started his Test career with a superb century against the Indians at Bengaluru. Very few knew that this was to be the start of a very special relationship between Clarke and the Indian bowlers. The former Australian captain, who bid adieu to the game in 2015, also has his best Test score of 329* against this very team. In 22 Tests against India, Clarke aggregates 2049 runs, at an average of 53.92, which is significantly higher than his career batting average. While scoring these runs, Clarke also has seven centuries to his name, the last of which came at Chennai in February 2013, in the first Test of the 2013 Border Gavaskar Trophy.
