- Rahul Dravid – 2143 runs:
When one talks about piling up runs against quality bowling attacks, Rahul Dravid’s name wouldn’t be too far away from that list. The Indian batting legend has 2143 runs against Australia in 32 Tests, at an average of 39.68. While the average may seem very unlike Rahul Dravid, it has been the class of knocks which stands out. Dravid has just two Test centuries against Australia, but both stand out from a historic point of view. While he scored an epic century along with VVS Laxman in that mind boggling Eden Gardens Test of 2001, the other one was his knock of 233 at Adelaide, which brought India a memorable victory after a really long while in Down Under.
