India’s batting Nawab was not ready to stop and was planning to hit his third triple hundred at Mumbai in 2009, but unfortunately, he missed it by seven runs. The power-packed innings from Virender Sehwag brought nightmares for the Lankan bowlers.
After Sri Lanka’s respectable total of 393 in the first innings, nobody would have expected this enormous innings from Sehwag. He hammered every bowler in his own style and helped India put up 726 runs. After his marathon innings, the bowlers did a class act and bowled out Sri Lanka for just 309 runs; giving India an innings and 24 runs win.
