England strengthened their position with a 94-run partnership for the first wicket. With the wicket giving a hint of turn, Chandrashekar took the onus on him and destroyed the English batting lineup, taking 6 wickets for only 38 runs. England were bowled out for 101 in their second innings, and India successfully chased 173 to win the match.
