1.Anil Kumble’s 10-wicket haul against Pakistan, 1999:

Undoubtedly the greatest spell by an Indian bowler in Test cricket. Chasing a huge target of 420 runs, Pakistan were cruising at one stage after their openers made a fine start. At 101 for no loss, the fans were fearing the worst but Kumble broke the partnership when he dismissed Shahid Afridi. The wicket opened the flood -gates and the legendary leg-spinner took the remaining 9 wickets to register his name in the record books. India had won the match 212 runs. Kumble finished the innings with 10 for 74 and became only the second man to get 10 in an innings after Jim Laker’s 1956 feat against the Aussies at Manchester.
