2.Dhawal Kulkarni: (4 – 1 – 14 – 4) (GJ vs RCB, Bangalore, 24th May)

Dhawal-Kulkarni-GL

After posting 158 against RCB on a good batting pitch, Gujarat Lions were looking down the barrel but then Gujarat Lions’ pacer Dhawal Kulkarni ripped the RCB top order to shreds only to see AB de Villiers snatch victory from jaws of defeat in the end to take Bangalore into the final. It took Kulkarni only two balls to dismiss the in-form Royal Challengers captain Virat Kohli. In his next over, he bowled Chris Gayle and then got KL Rahul to edge his out-swinger to slip, first ball. Kulkarni had a fourth wicket when Sachin Baby spooned an easy catch to cover. Bowling his full quota out to open the innings, Kulkarni finished the match with new career-best 4-14.
