Sandeep Patil:
The Indian cricket team’s chief selector Patil, who has experience of coaching Indian team and Kenya, who qualified in the 2003 World Cup semifinal, at international level was a competent name in the group of applicants. But unfortunately, BCCI wants him to be at the helm as a selector and to be fair to the board, he is doing an outstanding job.
Patil was the coach of the Indian team and later the rising Kenyan team hired him as manager cum coach. Kenya shocked many teams and qualified for the semifinal but lost to India. Patil was also the director of National Cricket Academy, Bangalore. He has been Indian team selectors since 2012.
