Ravi Shastri appears to be a strong contender to become Indian team next coach. He became the director of the Indian team in-between the tour of 2014 England team. Under his coaching stint with the Indian team won test series against Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka, defeating the number 1 ranked team South Africa 3-0 , whitewashing the Australian team 3-0 in their own den, winning the Asia Cup T20. The Indian team reached the semi-finals of ICC World T20 and ICC World Cup in 2015. His positive attitude towards the game makes him a perfect candidate to become India’s next coach. He was the coach of Indian team for 18 months.
